Our little weekend getaway (a week late)

First of all, let me apologize for my pics not being in order. I just can't ever get it to cooperate with me. Any ideas? Because it seems like you have to go backwards. Anyway, we decided for our first family vacation we would go to St. Louis. We left last friday morning and on friday nite, we went to Busch Stadium to catch the Cardinals play the Astros. I had never been before, (Jacob had been several times) so we decided to get pretty good seats and let me tell you, IT WAs AWESOME! We sat in row 21 behind the Cardinals dugout. The game started off, with quite a few errors from the Cardinal side but we came back to win in 4-3 with a home run late in the game. Taryn even enjoyed it, although she was a bit fussy in the beginning, she ended up sacking out in the eighth inning and sleeping through the fireworks but waking up right at the end.
Then on Saturday we went to the zoo and I think Jacob and I enjoyed that more than her, although she did watch the elephants and my favorite the giraffes! Taryn really like to people watch instead. After the zoo we had to go to Daddy's favorite store: Cabela's which was kinda fun. Then we went back to the hotel to relax a little and decided to just spend the evening downtown, walking around. It was beautiful and the weather was just perfect. The last picture was at this new city garden park downtown. It was lighted dancing water geyers. It was beautiful and it was for the kids to play in. We definitely had a great time!!
On an update with my little pumkin:
8 months on (8/11) stats 16lbs 2 oz 28 in long
New accomplishments: Crawling everywhere, and not slowly :)
Escaping outta the Bumbo, (she literally just crawls out of it!)
Saying uh-oh, and learning to wave bye-bye.
Hating Naps :)
Its hard to believe we've been blessed already with 8 months with our little angel. I hope the time slows down soon.
