Well to all my OB girls.. I finally did it! :) I took a position. They had been on me for three years now encouraging me to but I never thought it was the right time. Working prn was just working out well, and I never had to worry about anything. But now, I think it would help for Taryn and I to have a routine, some stability in my schedule.
I will do 5 outta 6 weekends, every Friday/Saturday night shift. Then I will be off through the week with my little pumpkin. YEAH!! I can't even imagine not working through the week. I could cook supper everynite, go to all his softball games, not miss church on Wednesdays. It will definitely be a lot different.
My boss offered my the position last week and I told her Jacob and I would discuss it, thinking I probably wouldn't take it. Going to church on Sunday morning was my worry but I think I will just stay up and then sleep after church. And being committed to every weekend, seemed like a lot, but to be off thru the week will make up for it. It's amazing how God worked it all out. Jacob and I prayed about it and asked for a clear answer. And we definitely got it. THANK YOU LORD!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

I love seeing how God works in our lives Sheena! I love you (and Jacob and Taryn) so much!! I miss you all! I am so proud of you Sheena, with your faith in God and desire to follow Him, it's so encouraging. I look up to you and Jacob as an example of what I want my family to become! I love you I love you!!!
ReplyDeleteI am very nervous about this Shenna. What will I do without seeing you throughout the week? I will miss your giggle. Lucky I work 2 Fridays a schdule. I am already missing you. I know it will be better for you and your family though. Home every night through the week...I cant imagine. Hope it works well for you. See you soon I hope.
