A rough week

As you can see, I've not gotten very far in learning how to get my pics on here and getting my blog the way I want it but, what a crazy week it's been. Last Wednesday I started feeling a little icky and just started taking it easy thinking it's just a lack of sleep. By Thursday morning, it was definitely not getting better and I started running a low grade fever off and on all day. I called my ob b/c i thought it was maybe mastitis, but also had flu symptoms too. They thought it was something viral and just told me to keep an eye on it b/c there's nothing they can do if it's viral.

Well, I was feeling soo bad that Jacob took off work and took care of Taryn so I could rest. Bless his heart, he does soooo great with her. Anyway it was sooo hard he would just bring her in to nurse then take her back again and it was killing me not to spend time her. I got to feeling soo bad that he suggested just giving her a bottle and going up to his Mom's. I had not spent anytime away from her and apparently God thought it was time. It was so hard, even being sick didn't make it any easier. Well by 8pm that night, my mom came up to check on me and said I was burning up, so I took my temp. and it was 104.2. A little scary, I called my girls at work knowing what they were gonna say, come to ER. UGGH. So off to ER we went, they ended up diagnosing me with early mastitis and a viral infection. I told my Dr. I wanted to avoid being admitted and he said he'll see how I feel after the meds and we would make that decision together. When he walked out of the room I told Jacob the decision is already made. I'm not spending any more time away from my daughter. After 4 hrs. and IV fluids and antibiotics I really was feeling better. So praise the Lord we came home. I'm just now feeling back up to par. I don't know what I'm gonna do when I have to leave her b/c of work. I'm already a basketcase thinking about it!!!
